A little archive
of rounds played.

I have a lot of golf pencils. I love to travel and play golf, and the pencils I bring home have become a small archive of the courses I’ve played and the places I’ve been. Each one is a souvenir, a journal entry, and an excuse to talk about a trip.

I wanted a way to put that collection on display, so I designed a holder and made a file for 3D printing. To bring it to life, I used Denver Public Library’s ideaLAB, a free public makerspace with tools for projects like this.

After printing, I glued the pieces into a frame on top of a self-adhesive green velvet backing to build the finished display. A satisfying mix of designing something useful, trying a local resource, and giving a growing collection a home.
